I’m passionate about mechanical systems, robotics, and medical technologies and committed to designing solutions that balance engineering precision with human needs. I develop CAD models, conduct rigorous analyses, and build prototypes that work in the real world. From surgical devices to manufacturing fixtures, I create systems that are manufacturable, verifiable, and built for the end users.

Developed mechanical prototypes of a computer rack system for a medical equipment system. Consolidated learnings from customer site visit, legacy product, and internal business units, and developed design input and requirements for said system and contained devices, including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
Planned and executed documentation for Engineering Change Order (ECO) of 25 Off-the-Shelf and 56 custom tools and fixtures used in product manufacturing. Designed 6+ new and update existing custom fixtures used in manufacturing processes and V&V testing.
Designed and performed tolerance analysis on a mechanical fixture to safely compress gas springs using the mechanical advantage provided by linearly guided lead screw mechanism.
Consulted Supply Chain Management, Service, Manufacturing, and R&D and created design input documents for a new configurable capital equipment packaging system with multi-modal distribution channels. Reviewed ASTM, IEC, ISO, ISTA standards and developed test method, protocol, and climatic conditioning sequence for characterization and V&V of said packaging. Coordinated internal and external resources to design, manufacture, and test 4 distinct packaging samples within 6 months, interpreted learnings for future product and packaging design phases. Successfully field-demonstrated samples fitted with equipment on 4 cross-country and 2 international freight shipments.
May 2021 – May 2022
Designed, fabricated, and integrated a needle-sized continuum robot for enhanced surgical access for office-based laryngeal intervention. Characterized and verified the mechanical performance of the device experimentally and in simulation.
Jun 2020 – Aug 2020
Designed and prototyped an electromechanical face mask to improve verbal communication.
Summer 2019
